Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla inaugurated the KIIT School of Public Policy, emphasizing India’s democratic strength and citizen-focused governance. He highlighted India’s influence on global peace through “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family). The event was attended by Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy and Deputy Chief Minister KV Singhdeo, who praised the school’s mission to train future leaders.

The Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) extended their support. UNSSC Director Dr. Jafar Javan, former Vice President of Ecuador Otto Sonnenholzner, and MP Aparajita Sarangi commended the school’s vision and Dr. Samanta’s commitment to education and social impact. ICWA Additional Secretary Nutan Kapoor Mahawar hailed the initiative as a major step in fostering global alliances. The event was also attended by Filmmaker Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, KIIT Chancellor Dr. Ashok Parija, Vice Chancellor Prof. Saranjit Singh, and Asia Society Policy Institute’s Akshay Mathur.
